1.  Abraham Vandegrift was born in 1686 in Dutch Reformed Church of Richmond County.  He was baptized on 4 Jul 1686 in Dutch Reformed Church, New Amsterdam, New Netherland.  Witnesses to the baptism were Clement Elsenwaert and Brechtle Elsenwaert.

  Abraham was the only son of Leendert who remained in Bucks County and he was granted the letters of administration for his father's estate and in documents was known as "Abraham VANDEGRIFT, by the River."

Administration Papers were granted on his estate in 1748 (File #641, Bucks County) Mary's will was probated in 1750 (File #676, Bucks County)

Catherine Miller and Nicholas Keen were married on 14 Oct 1767.  Nicholas Keen was born in 1744.  He was born on 24 Dec 1744 in New Jersey.  He was the son of Mounoe KEEN and Sarah SEELEY. During the Revolution he was commissioned a Leutinant, then Captain, in the First Battalion of Salem County Militia. He was also a Captain of the armed boat "Friendship", and captain commanding boatmen in the frontiers of Cumberland and Cape May counties. From 1781 to 1782 he served in Major Hayes Battalion.

His 2nd wife was Mary ? who died in 1820, and she was buried 15 Nov 1820 in Gloria Dei Churchyard. (Old Swedes Church, Philadelphia)  Catherine Miller and Nicholas Keen had the following children:

John Miller was an American Revolutionary war soldier, a private in Capt. Jehu Eyre's Company of Philadelphia Militia (artillery), and he was in the Battle of Trenton. John was a resident of Philadelphia and kept the Farmer's Inn. Elizabeth married 2nd, George Bisbing.  Jacob Vandergriff and Elizabeth Miller had the following children:
